Cancellation & refund policies
Deposits
Any class deposit is non-refundable.
Missed drive fee
When you reserve a drive, the instructor holds that time for you. A $50 fee may be charged if a drive is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or if the student is not at the pickup location on time, declines to drive when the instructor arrives, or does not have the permit in hand (a picture is not enough). Driving sessions may be paused until missed-drive fees are paid. Excessive cancellations may result in removal from the program. Please call as soon as possible about illness or emergencies.
Drive tests
Only WCDS students may do the final drive test with our instructors. We do not offer drive tests to the public, and insurance does not allow us to rent our cars for BMV tests.
Refunds
Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of payment being received. No refunds if the student has received the signed state CDE form or has begun driving, or if the student chooses not to complete part or all of the program. Enrollment is non-transferable once official paperwork has been issued.
